2007 | The Cistercian Museum Walkenried Monastery was a "selected site" in the "Germany – Land of Ideas" competition.
2010 | Together with the Upper Harz Water Management System, Walkenried Monastery became part of the "Mines of Rammelsberg, Historic Town of Goslar and Upper Harz Water Management System" UNESCO World Heritage Site.
2015 | The Cistercian Museum was certified as "especially children-friendly".
2018 | Recertification of the CistercianMuseum for another three years.
